I recently did a shoot for Blue Box Bakery for their delicious caramels. I’ve never done an official product photography shoot before this. I have just done some of my own little things, because I wanted to try it out.
With trying out different stylings for the product, I really started to get into it and coming up with a lot of different ideas. I ended up doing a lot of Christmasy product photography, because tis the season. Let’s just say I had some fun running around the house and using all my Christmas items. Well, let’s be honest, I didn’t use them all.
However, I couldn’t only do Christmas product photos. Blue Box Bakery needs to be able to use the images throughout the year. These lovely caramels are available for order ALL YEAR LONG. I highly suggest heading over to her website and purchasing some. I suggest the fleur de sel caramels which have the perfect softness, yet a nice twist with the salt. I’m a huge fan of some salt on my sugary items. They help balance it out for me. If you aren’t a salty fan, her vanilla bean caramels will not disappoint you either.
They are the best
I’m a little biased, but everyone I’ve given these caramels to has said they are the best they have ever had. So take it from them. I became friends with the lady behind the show during my freshman year in college. I remember when she started making these lovely things because she wanted to send Christmas gifts to her friends and family, but couldn’t afford it. They are heaven in a blue little box.
Also, the first wedding cake she ever made, was mine. If you are around the seattle area, then you need to look her up for your wedding cake, favors (these caramels) and her other desserts. She is my favorite and I highly recommend her.
