Again, when a friends asks you to take pictures of their family, you say yes! It definitely can help when the kids know you and feel more comfortable around you. These boys sure loved being in front of the camera and did not mind one bit when I asked them to do something. We had decided to just start driving out towards Hyalite, because it is really one of the best locations around Bozeman. You can’t get much better than the Hyalite area. Have you ever been up there? Well, take a trip to Bozeman and go up to Hyalite. Your outdoor loving self will not be disappointed at all.
We got a little later start than we had wanted to, so we stop half way up to the reservoir at Langhor Campground. There is a nice little bridge over the creek and a little paved travel. The trail is surrounded by mountain trees which leads you away from the campground along the creek. With a mixture of trees and rocks, you feel as though you are tucked far away from any man made structure. I love that so many places I used to hang out at earlier in life have become some epic places for taking pictures.
This made for an easy place to put the littlest man in the stroller and just start walking. A momma of four boys needs some individual pictures of her boys, so we made sure to capture each of them. I might be biased, but I love these boys. I’ve watched them grow over the last 6 plus years, watched the two new additions enter the family. I have attached my heart to this family and to be able to capture them for future memories made my heart even happier. I hope that you find yourself enjoying this family through these images as much as I enjoy them.
