Maternity Photography in The Dalles
I had so much fun getting the opportunity to photograph this mommy-to-be for her second time around. It was a beautiful day for maternity photography in The Dalles. We hopped in the car to head out to Rowena Crest. The Columbia River Gorge has been so beautiful and green lately. We wanted to be sure to capture these moments while the little lady was still in her belly and the grass was still green. The wildflowers were starting to come out as well at Rowena. We were excited as we approached the turn out.
Then, we stepped out of the car. The wind was howling like mad, but we grabbed a coat and started out trek out along the trail. The sun kept peaking through the clouds as we kept stopping along the path. We couldn’t get over how beautiful it was there, yet the wind kept reminding us to hurry up. We were getting chilled to the bone, but still having a blast while we were taking the pictures. These are the times and photography sessions that I will remember. The ones that are not necessarily the best moment, but make the best moments by just laughing at the circumstances and making the moment turn into something better. This is the best part of being a photographer.
